Water-Curtain Wet Paint Booth Paint Treatment System

Evakim has been designing and manufacturing water-filtration treatment systems for wet paint booths since 2006. The company also manufactures paint killing and flotation chemicals used in these systems.

Instead of using standardized systems, Evakim designs and manufactures paint booth treatment systems according to the architectural and technical characteristics of the specific wet paint booth. Based on this approach, the company has numerous references in Turkey and international markets.

Since overspray cannot be adequately captured by water alone, paint killing and decomposing chemicals are used in the booth's washing system. When overspray comes into contact with the water, the chemicals react with the paint, helping it lose its properties and facilitating its subsequent removal from the booth water and system. This helps prevent clogging and performance issues in the washing system and airflow system.

Failure to use chemicals or using unsuitable chemicals can lead to problems such as water splashing onto painted or to-be-painted parts, insufficient exhaust performance, and paint accumulation inside the booth. Paint particles reaching the exhaust fan may also cause fan imbalance and paint accumulation on the fan blades.

Water is transferred from the paint booth basin to the treatment system using a pump specifically selected for the application. The reaction and flotation tank used for wet paint sludge separation is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel and consists of inlet, reaction, and water recycling sections.

The system includes a motor-driven scraper system, paint sludge collection container, and a structure that returns filtered water to the system. It also features dosing pumps for paint killing, flotation, and pH adjustment chemicals.

All system equipment can be controlled via a PLC-controlled touchscreen, with functions such as weekend mode also available.
