This Notice is prepared by ("Company", "Platform"), operator of makinateklif.com, as data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). It explains how the personal data of natural persons who use, register on or visit the Platform is processed.
1. Identity of the Data Controller

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed
Identity: name, surname; for corporate/store members, trade name and tax/identity number.
Contact: e-mail address, phone number, address, city/district.
Customer transaction: membership records, published listings, quotes sent/received, messaging content, favorites, orders and package purchases.
Transaction security: IP address, session and login logs, cookie identifiers, device and browser information.
Finance: limited records relating to payments. Card data is not stored by the Company; payments are processed via a licensed, PCI-DSS compliant payment institution (iyzico).
Marketing: preferences and consents, subject to your explicit consent.
3. Purposes of Processing
Creating, managing and authenticating membership accounts,
Providing listing, quote, messaging and store services,
Selling membership packages and add-ons, invoicing and processing payments,
Responding to requests, complaints and support tickets,
Ensuring platform security and preventing fraud and abuse,
Measuring and improving service quality and producing statistics,
Sending promotions and commercial electronic messages where consent exists,
Fulfilling legal obligations and requests of authorized authorities.
4. Legal Grounds
Your data is processed under Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK based on: necessity for the establishment/performance of a contract, compliance with the Company's legal obligations, establishment/exercise/protection of a right, the legitimate interests of the Company (provided your fundamental rights are not harmed) and, where none of these apply (e.g. marketing messages and cookies), your explicit consent.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Your data may be transferred, only to the extent necessary, to payment institutions, hosting and cloud providers, e-mail/SMS service providers, legal and financial advisors, and legally authorized public authorities. Transfers abroad are made only where the conditions of KVKK Art. 9 are met or where you have given explicit consent.
6. Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected electronically, through automated or partly automated means, via membership and listing forms, contact and support channels, cookies and your use of the Platform.
7. Retention Periods
Your data is retained for the period required by the processing purpose and the statutory periods set out in applicable law (e.g. 10 years for commercial and tax records); it is then deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
8. Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11)
You may request to learn whether your data is processed, obtain information thereon, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties to whom it is transferred, request correction or erasure, request notification of these actions to third parties, object to results arising solely from automated analysis, and demand compensation for damages.
