Karakaya Makina Fixed-Speed Walnut Shell Peeling Machine

A practical and economical solution for post-harvest green walnut husk removal.

This machine is designed to remove and clean the green husks from freshly harvested walnuts. It performs the cleaning process using cutting and abrasive surfaces made from perforated steel sheet, providing a practical and economical solution for walnut producers.

The machine receives green-husked walnuts in bulk. Abrasive perforated steel sheets located on the side walls and rotating drum at the bottom of the chamber break down and remove the unwanted green husks surrounding the walnuts. During the process, the removed green husks are discharged through a separate channel. Once the husk removal process is complete, the cleaned walnuts are automatically discharged through another outlet.

Problems such as the pores of sandpaper and similar abrasives becoming clogged quickly and requiring frequent replacement are eliminated with the perforated steel sheet abrasive system. The long service life of the perforated steel sheet reduces labor loss and provides multiple benefits for the producer.

The machine requires only an electrical outlet and a water connection for operation.

It is recommended within the scope of Agricultural Provincial Directorates.

For long-term use, the abrasive system is manufactured from 430K stainless steel, unlike conventional systems. The system incorporates tens of thousands of abrasive teeth. Sandpaper, bonded abrasive powder, sieve wire, or similar materials are not used, eliminating the need for frequent part replacement.

Manufacturing: All components are manufactured using CNC machines for long-term use. Fully domestic materials are used, including the motor and gearbox components. No Chinese-made materials are used.

Chamber: The center of the chamber is designed without a central shaft to allow walnuts to circulate freely.

Capacity: Capable of processing 45–50 kg of walnuts in 7–8 minutes.

Operation: Designed for single-person operation, providing minimum labor requirements and maximum efficiency.

Discharge: Once the husking process is complete, the cleaned walnuts can be easily discharged automatically by opening the cover.
