Operating Principle of Parking Systems

Parking systems operate by coupling vertical and horizontal transfer elements in a coordinated manner. They are designed according to the required capacity and traffic flow. In areas with heavy traffic, the number of lifts can be increased, or horizontal carriers can be used to support the vertical lifts by reducing the travel distance, helping to solve parking space problems.

In addition to parking systems that can be designed entirely as steel structures, systems can also be designed using a combination of reinforced concrete and steel construction. The exterior facade of the structures can optionally be clad in a manner suitable for the surrounding environment.

Due to increasing population and changing living standards, the parking areas that need to be allocated in existing and newly constructed buildings are expected to increase in the coming years. Therefore, semi-automatic and fully automatic parking systems are expected to be preferred instead of high construction costs. In addition, the concentration of workplaces in central locations, insufficient parking capacity at metro and public transportation stations, inadequate existing parking facilities, insufficient personnel and visitor parking at public institutions, and limited parking capacity for students and academic staff at private and state universities will continue to increase the need for automatic and semi-automatic parking systems.
